GENEVA, IL – More than ever before, the computing public is being assaulted by intrusions that seek not only to destroy, but rather to impede and exploit processing power.

It’s rare to find a computer user who hasn’t turned on their machine and found their home page changed to an unfamiliar website, machine shutdowns in the middle of doing work, annoying popups, sluggish performance, and other issues.

The primary culprits are adware, an amorphous class of software that mostly gets downloaded via web surfing or opening attachments with viruses or Trojans. The spyware is resource-hungry and can render the machines almost unusable and sluggish.

Hi!  My name is Sandra Ellis, a software trainer, documentation specialist, and equipment maintenance tech. My primary focus is operating system maintenance, checking servers and workstations for current antivirus definitions, removing unnecessary software from startup and removing adware/spyware, checking the storage space on the device. My goal is to return your devices to their original speed without a “wipe and reload” requiring reloading of software as well as backup of important data files.

In 1989, I started PC Training Services specializing in word processing training for businesses. As technology evolved, I now focus on deskside assistance for individuals and businesses as well as remote assistance for computer firms. I am certified as a Microsoft Office User Specialist Expert.
